I started my journey to filmmaking at an early age. The gateway was as a singer in a rock band that came to be well known in Iceland, when making music videos I got to know the film industry a bit and after that there was no turning back. In 1996 I was accepted to the Icelandic film school academy where I graduated with good experience and used that to climb the latter in the film industry.

I started sweeping the studio floor, then onto running the biggest production rental house in Iceland, and became on of the busiest key grip in Iceland working on every big foreign Hollywood feature that has been shot in country and countless commercials.

After that I was line producing several big features from around the world to be shot over here in Iceland.

From the start I have been editing on the side and since 2005, I have been directing and editing my own work.

Having done numerous music videos , countless commercials and two short films I’m here to stay.

Over the years I have directed and/or produced a diverse range of projects including commercials, music video, fashion films, trailers, documentaries, brand films and short films.
